Dr. Clare Thomasy

Dr. Clare Thomasy, OD

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Dr. Clare Thomasy, originally from Ohio, made Northern California her home in 2009. After graduating with honors from Coastal Carolina University with a B.S. in Biology, she attended Ohio State University College of Optometry. In 2009, she graduated with a degree of Doctor of Optometry. She is currently licensed in California with TLG certification, enabling her to treat glaucoma and write prescriptions for therapeutics. Prior to joining Helmus Optometry in 2019, Dr. Thomasy spent three years serving the eye care needs of the greater Davis community alongside local ophthalmologist Dr. Robert Miller at Advanced Valley Eye Associates. In her spare time, Dr. Thomasy enjoys reading, listening to music, exploring California, playing with her two nieces, and traveling to other countries.
