We are more than just eye care providers — we add an element of “human touch” into everything we do for our patients and the community. At Helmus Optometry, we relish the human connections. Every year we show that appreciation through community-focused causes that we believe in. That’s why we maintain a large number of community outreach programs, because we know that everyone is stronger when they work together.
Helmus Optometry Community Outreach
Dr. Julie Helmus enthusiastically dove into the family practice after receiving her doctorate in 2015. Today she continues the family tradition of community outreach, as modeled by her parents, Drs. Mark and Joann Helmus (now happily retired). Helmus Optometry has supported more than a dozen organizations including Downtown Davis Business Associate, Guide Dogs for the Blind, the Sacramento Zoo, Soroptomist, Thriving Pink, and numerous local schools and sports teams.
